Shaving Tips - Tell Your Man

Then again, it's probably good for us women too (but hopefully not for the face haha).  See if you (and your man) know the following:

If you're like many men, you shave nearly every day. With all that shaving, your face can take quite a beating.  To protect the skin on your face and still get the close shave you want, try these tips:
  • Opt to shave during or immediately after a hot shower.  The hot water from the shower will soften your beard and open your pores, making shaving easier.  If you don't want to shower before shaving, rest a wet, hot towel on your face for a minute or so before you begin shaving.
  • Once you're lathered up, wait about three minutes before starting to shave.  This will further protect your skin.
  • When shaving, shave in the direction that the hair lies.  Avoid repeating strokes, and don't put too much pressure on the razor's handle or pull your skin taut.  This can cause irritation.
  • When you're done shaving, rinse your face thoroughly and pat your skin dry.

To minimize skin irritation, replace your blade after five to seven shaves.

Did you learn something? :)

Very interesting. I mostly love the picture of the baby shaving.
